A guide is a nested collection of elements that the author believes will help the reader in developing the needed knowledge or understanding to complete an exercise. When a guide is started, the reader is guided through the nested list before he/she is brought back to repeat the first exercise.
Cymra supports a hierarchy of access levels to your book. You can add co-authors or editors to your book if you want to collaborate with others, or you can invite other people to become readers.
We have a range of different exercise that you can choose from when you add elements to your book. In addition to the different types of exercises, you can also choose to add simple text elements with our rich text editor or integrate your own video files.
Every form of content or communication within the Cymra platform has integrated support for in-text mathematics. You do not need to know TeX, MathML or any other language in order to add mathematical formulas or expressions in your content.
We will gladly help you integrating your Cymra book in your own website to avoid that students, course-members or other readers have to leave your domain to access your content.
You can attach files and documents to each content type in Cymra. This can be, for example, PDF-files, Word documents, spreadsheets or power point presentations.
